In ichthology this helps in identification to some extent but for complete identification it takes much more as scale count along the lateral line head structure, tooth form , different fin ray count and much more.
Eddie, who gets that deep into the hobby anymore? And more often than not, us hobbyists don't have the proper equipment or the need to delve into that much detail.

Thanks!

And Why is that Sunny? What I have ever done to make this such a problem for you? Is it Really me that is causing this behavior to come out in you? If memory serves me correctly I've never been a bad comminucator with you before with inappropriate or misleading intensions... Have I?

I'll leave my answer at this. I hope not everybody had the same attitude as you when it comes to keeping highly aggressive fish. Prior experience from a majority of Petro keepers have already shown us the best way to keep these amazing fish in tanks. When you ask for advice on how to keep Petros, that's the advice you're gonna get and if you had done your prior research, you would have known as much. Instead, you basically showed me that any time spent by anybody replying to you is a waste because it falls on your already biased ears. We're not all stay-at-home dads that have oodles of time to spend when the dishes are done and kids are at school.

On a more personal note, I take exception towards your blatant disdain for those who take pride and joy in their Petros so much they share photos with everybody else. You make it sound like doing so is a form of grand standing to belittle others. I for one LOVE to see pics and videos of other ppl's fish that I have no chance of keeping. But no, you made that turn out to be a dirty deed. You fail to understand that these pics and videos are valuable to the hobby in general so that the true hobbyist can see what's possible in this hobby and what's not.
