Default Rock choice

I currently have whats called reef saver rock in my tank. Its similar to Texas Holey Rock but the holes are smaller. Thinking of making two large caves. One on each side of the tank and leaving the middle of the tank open. Is this the best way to scape a tank which I'll be adding juveniles to? Also have two Koralia powerheads (2400 GPH) each. Should I use both? Thanks for advice.
